Pelvic floor physiotherapy is a branch of physiotherapy that treats conditions including incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. It involves internal and/or external assessment of the pelvic floor muscles, and individualized treatment to increase strength and control of the pelvic floor in order to decrease symptoms and improve quality of life.
