This introductory four-hour workshop offers a clear and grounded exploration of Chinese Medicine pulse-taking for healthcare practitioners, bodyworkers, and curious learners. You will learn to understand the pulse as more than heart rate — as a dynamic expression of vessel tone, fluid movement, directionality, depth, and nervous system regulation. Through both theoretical teaching and guided hands-on practice, participants will explore the foundational axes of pulse qualities, recognize baseline patterns, and understand how emotional and physiological states influence pulse expression. Emphasis is placed on tactile clarity, structured perception, and practical clinical application

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
