Shockwave/Cold Laser Therapy Consultation
Are you looking to get Shockwave or Laser therapy treatment? Book this consultation appointment. This includes a history and goal-setting conversation with your Case Manager to ensure shockwave and.or cold laser would be a suitable option for you, and your questions about the modality are answered. If proceeding, this will be followed by an Initial Assessment with a MYo Lab Chiropractor. Diagnosis & Treatment are NOT included in this consultation. These WILL be included in the Day 2 booking (following the Initial Assessment) with your Clinician after a thorough orthopedic exam!
Shockwave Therapy uses acoustic (sound) waves that react with the tissues of the body to promote healing by breaking down scar tissue, promoting the formation of new blood vessels, and improved blood flow to the area.
Cold Laser improves mitochondria in cells, therefore improving healing times especially in acute/subacute injuries. If you're new to Chiro at MYo, please book an Initial Assessment.
