Treatment may involve the insertion of thin, sterile, single-use needles into specific points on the body, selected based on the presenting condition and treatment plan. Acupuncture and/or Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) may be used to support the reduction of pain, improve musculoskeletal function, and promote overall balance and well-being.
Temporary redness, tenderness/soreness, bruising, and slight bleeding at the needle insertion site may occur following acupuncture treatment regardless of treatment duration. These effects are generally mild and resolve without intervention.***

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
