MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage)
This 75‑minute MLD appointment includes a full assessment and health interview, hands‑on treatment, home‑care recommendations, and treatment planning. Hands‑on treatment time is a minimum of 50 minutes.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, or ensure all intake forms are completed in advance.
Important booking information:
*All intake forms must be completed at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to allow for review and confirmation that treatment is safe.* Appointments may be rescheduled if forms are not completed on time.
Contraindications / clearance required:
MLD may not be appropriate for clients with congestive heart failure, cellulitis, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), active bacterial or viral infections, or arterial insufficiency (physician note required). Clients under 14 and post‑natal clients require a physician note.
Post‑orthopedic surgery MLD is not available until June.
Burns, ulcers, and wounds may be treated if no active infection is present.
