Mobile Infant Massage
Infant massage supports growth & development, bonding & attachment, and improves sleep quality for baby. A gentle massage with a nurturing touch can help ease baby's discomforts. Infant massage helps with constipation, gas, teething pains, decreases stress, improves self regulation and promotes rest full sleep. It is also excellent for children requiring extra support, including prematurely born babies, babies of multiples and/or babies born addicted.
This massage will be 'cue-based' and baby driven, meaning the baby is in control of the massage. Select an appointment time that doesn't interfere with baby's sleep routine. Consider feeding the baby before arrival to their appointment. The room will be warm and relaxing, the baby's needs are considered. As the baby relaxes, you will see them get quite comfortable.
However, be prepared that some babies get fussy or cry. Its okay for baby to cry! We encourage that parents/caregivers to listen to their babies needs.
Our classes incorporate the RMT massaging baby as well as we teach parents/caregivers how to incorporate nurturing touch safely into babies daily routine.
Book a single session or a series of 2 or 3 sessions, which is suggested for parents/caregivers that really want to get comfortable with infant massage.
