Acupuncture
Acupuncture decreases pain by stimulating nerves and increases the release of the body’s pain-relieving chemicals by the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the skin. Acupuncture is also believed to cause local tissue changes to stimulate healing. Dry needling/Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) uses acupuncture needles to deactivate trigger points and decrease pain.

Most of the appointment is spent checking how your joints and muscles are moving — talking through what you’re noticing, testing movement, posture and tenderness — then doing hands-on joint work or soft-tissue treatment and sending you out with a clear next-step plan.
