What you need to bring to your appointment:
1) Prescription if required by your insurer (check with your insurer directly prior to booking an appointment)
2) Shoes you most frequently wear, which have removable insoles
3) Comfortable shorts to wear during the assessment
Please note:
One Wellness cannot direct bill to your insurance company for custom orthotics.
Full payment for your Custom Orthotics is due at the time of your appointment.
To enable you to submit your claim as soon as possible, we will provide you with the following documentation:
1) Receipt (upon full payment)
2) Letter from Certified Pedorthist (day of appointment)
3) Bio-mechanical assessment (provided within 7 days, but often sooner)
Each insurance company has different requirements, so please contact your insurer directly to determine what is required, and how much your policy will cover prior to your appointment.

Most of the appointment is spent examining how your feet are built and moving — skin, nails, joints, pressure points, gait and footwear — then dealing with the immediate issue through nail or skin care, padding, strapping or offloading, and sending you out with clear next steps.
