** This is a shorter appointment intended for patients who have already had one ultrasound treatment at Oona before.**
Ultrasound therapy for the treatment of a blocked duct. Please note this is usually caused by an improper latch which results in baby not draining the breast properly. We also recommend an assessment by one of our lactation consultants.
We recommend bringing your baby with you to this appointment, as we recommend nursing immediately after the treatment, in an effort to fully drain the duct. Very wee ones will likely be fine to stay in the room with you during the treatment.
