ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT TMJD
Must book assessment prior to booking follow-up appointments.
Assessment includes full health history, with focus to Head, face, jaw, neck and upper body injury, surgeries and symptoms. Observational tests will be performed to assess for joint inflammation, and to investigate the best treatment plan for you. You will also be instructed on remedial exercises and self-care, which will be tailored to your specific needs.
Book this if you have migraines, concussion symptoms, TMJ pain, a history of dental interventions and surgeries, whiplash symptoms, breast or chest surgeries (implants, mastectomy, top surgery), post-cancer treatment discomforts in jaw, neck.
I also assess and treat the physical symptoms of voice, swallowing and tongue disorders.
Depending on your history and symptoms, we may spend a good portion of your initial appointment talking and assessing. Choose 75 or 90 mins for your initial, it's up to you!
