This 60 min appointment is for new patients, or for patients who have not received acupuncture treatment at OCR within the past 9 months.
Your initial acupuncture or TCM assessment includes a comprehensive consultation with a Registered Acupuncturist to better understand your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, and overall wellness goals. Using principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the assessment focuses on identifying patterns of imbalance within the body to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
Acupuncture may help support a wide range of concerns, including:

Treatment involves the gentle insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points to help improve circulation, regulate the nervous system, reduce tension, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Additional therapies such as cupping, gua sha, or lifestyle recommendations may also be included when appropriate.
