The practice of Chinese Herbal Medicine can be traced back several thousand years and is now used to treat everything from the common cold to symptoms associated with cancer.
There are thousands of herbs in the Chinese Materia Medica of which about 300 are commonly used. After consultation an herbal formula consisting of 6-12 herbs is created to treat your specific condition and constitution.

Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.
