Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.

45 minNew patientThis treatment uses less body points and focuses on auricular (ear) acupuncture points. The ear is seen as a microsystem that reflects the whole body. With carefully selected points stimulated your body releases endorphins which can help calm your nervous system. Very thin needles or ear seeds will be applied to your ear during this session along with gentle acupressure on the body.
