A reassessment is required during a treatment plan to determine if the injury is improving or getting worse. This will allow the doctor to adjust or change the treatment plan as necessary; refer the patient to a specialist or send for diagnostic imaging (i.e. x-rays).
The reassessment will involve a physicial examination of the areas of complaint.
