Your initial appointment will begin by your osteopath taking a detailed medical history, asking about your current symptoms, lifestyle, and any past injuries or conditions. This is followed by a physical examination, which may include assessing your posture, movement, and joint mobility, often involving gentle hands-on techniques. You may be asked to perform simple movements so the osteopath can observe how your body functions. Treatment will progress directly after assessment in the same appointment.
