Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a therapeutic technique that uses specialized stainless-steel tools to help detect and treat areas of soft tissue restriction, adhesions, and muscle tension. Integrated into massage therapy treatments, IASTM can help improve mobility, enhance circulation, reduce pain and stiffness, and support tissue healing and recovery.
This treatment may benefit individuals experiencing chronic tightness, reduced range of motion, postural strain, overuse injuries, or scar tissue. Techniques are always performed within patient comfort levels, and mild temporary redness may occur due to increased local circulation.
