Physiotherapy Visit: (Paediatric)
Therapeutic treatment starts on day one and will progress through subsequent appointments as the patients improves. Treatments involve hands on techniques including soft tissue massage, myofascial release, joint mobilizations and manipulations. Exercises will be prescribed to ensure stabilization and protection of injured areas, increase mobility and correct faulty movement patterns, target sport specific skills and optimize functional activities. Programs will include a combination strength, power, tissue extensibility and mobility exercises. Continuous education is a key factor to ensure longterm independent pain management.

Most of this visit is spent checking what changed since last time and doing the treatment itself — guided exercises, movement retraining, hands-on techniques or taping — then adjusting your home program so you leave knowing what to keep doing until the next session.
