During a coaching session, the child's grown-ups are invited to share their concerns, their child's strengths, discuss strategies, share updates, and review therapy goals with the psychologist. This session is in-person, but is also available as an online session.

Most of this first counselling visit is spent talking through what has been happening, how long it has been weighing on you, and what feels hardest right now — with the rest on clarifying patterns, goals, and boundaries so you leave knowing how the work together could be structured.
