Your first acupuncture appointment with Rowena is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand your health concerns, goals, and overall well-being. During this visit, we will review your health history, discuss your current symptoms, lifestyle factors, and treatment objectives. A Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) assessment may include pulse and tongue examination to help identify underlying patterns of imbalance. If you are suffering from any musculoskeletal conditions, Orthopedic assessment will be performed.
Based on your individual needs, Rowena will develop a personalized treatment plan and provide your first acupuncture treatment during the appointment. Additional therapies such as cupping, gua sha, electric stimulation or lifestyle recommendations may be incorporated when appropriate.
This appointment is suitable for both new and returning patients who has new concerns seeking care for pain management, stress, digestive concerns, hormonal health, sleep issues, and overall wellness.
