GUA SHA is the Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization massage tool. Gua Sha is help to scrape the skin to invigorate blood flow, release heat-toxins, stimulate lymphatic drainage, activate various points of the body and bring helpful cells to the area by stimulating an immune response.
* Gua Sha typically leaves temporary, harmless red marks on the skin for about 1-2 weeks.

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
