AIRPWT shockwave treatment for Medial/Lateral epicondylitis (golfers/tennis elbow).
AIRPWT shockwave therapy to treat Grade 1-3 wrist or ankle sprains. Typically full results are seen within 5 treatments, the more severe the grade of the sprain the more treatments you are likely to require for a full recovery.
Shockwave treatment uses sound pressure waves to affect the soft tissue, accelerating the body's own natural healing process. (Typically by 2/3rds - an injury that takes 6 weeks to heal naturally will be healed within 2 weeks with shockwave therapy).
Treatment duration and shockwave dosage are determined clinically based on the condition being treated and the appropriate treatment protocol. Appointment time includes assessment, treatment, reassessment and clinical recommendations. The fee is for the treatment session and is not calculated according to the number of minutes of shockwave application. Treatment may therefore be completed before the end of the reserved appointment time.
