This treatments includes microneedling of the face and neck. Body acupuncture and LED light therapy are added to ensure we are treating the body holistically.
Microneedling is a non-invasive procedure that uses a needling pen with 12 or 36 – (33 gauge) medical grade needles. The needling action causes fine holes (micro-wounds) punctured into the deep layers of the skin, up to 2.5 mm deep depending on area and condition of the skin. These micro-injuries promote the skin’s own healing mechanisms to stimulate new collagen and elastin fibres. This procedure improves texture, tone and reduces the appearance of scarring and fine lines.
Microneedling is also safe on all skin colours. For best results a cycle of 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended. This treatment is eligible for full or partial coverage under most extended health.
This treatment is not available during pregnancy, and requires a 2 week waiting period after botox and 4 weeks after filler.
