Acupuncture Assessment and Treatment with either Cupping, Qigong Energy, Tuina/Acupressure or Moxibustion (Choose One Option with Acupuncture)
This acupuncture treatment is coupled with cupping, qigong energy, tuina/acupressure or moxibustion.
Cupping is one of the therapeutic techniques in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and is similar to a backward deep tissue massage. Qigong energy is similar to reiki or an energetic massage treatment utilizing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles and works on the physical, energetic and spiritual energy fields.
Tuina/acupressure is also a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine and works on the same TCM principles (the meridians and acupuncture points) as acupuncture.
Moxibustion can be applied to areas of the body where there is cold pain in order to help warm the body either directly, with a base of ginger or garlic to protect the skin or directly on a needle to affect an acupuncture point directly.

What it is
Most of this first acupuncture visit is spent piecing together the pattern behind what’s been going on — questions about your symptoms, sleep, digestion and stress, plus feeling pulses or looking at your tongue — then the needles themselves and a clear sense of the treatment approach.
