Reiki
(pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese kanji for universal life-force energy.
Reiki is a Japanese holistic, hands on, light-touch, energy-based modality. Working as a balancing source to the body, Reiki re-establishes a balanced of energy flow called ki (life force energy). This in-turn can enhance and accelerate the body's innate ability to heal. Through a series of hand positions either directly on or just above the body, the energy worker allows for the flow of energy through their body. The client’s body then opens to receive the energy that is required by their system to promote balance and healing. The client may feel heat as energy in motion creates heat. Although hard to put this technique into word the experience speaks for itself, promoting relaxation, detoxification and energy balance within the body.
