Assessment and Treatment
An initial assessment is required for all new clients. It includes an assessment and a treatment and is 75-90 minutes long. The intent at our clinic is to find the cause of the problem and work to resolve it, the fewer the treatments the better. In order to achieve maximum results, we have longer appointment times than most. In the first 20-30 minutes your practitioner will go over your health history with you and will discuss a treatment plan. The rest of your appointment will be a full acupuncture treatment.

Most of this first acupuncture visit is spent piecing together the pattern behind what’s been going on — questions about your symptoms, sleep, digestion and stress, plus feeling pulses or looking at your tongue — then the needles themselves and a clear sense of the treatment approach.
