Feline Chiropractic - Examination & Treatment
The initial feline examination involves a thorough health history of the cat and in-depth analysis of any mobility issues, behavioural changes or problems that prompted the appointment. Previous diagnostic tests and/or any imaging from their veterinarian is also reviewed.
Physical examination involves: postural and gait analysis, range of motion testing, as well as static and dynamic motion palpation of the spine and extremities. Once an appropriate diagnosis and a plan of management has been discussed a treatment plan can begin. Treatment often includes corrective chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilization(s), myofascial release, passive range of motion and stretching, and therapeutic laser therapy/photobiomodulation if indicated (additional fee).
