Manual Lymphatic Drainage Treatment

An initial Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) treatment uses gentle, rhythmic techniques to encourage fluid to enter the lymph vessels just beneath the skin, stimulate the nerves that activate the deeper lymphatic collector vessels, and support healthy lymph node drainage. This process helps the body move and clear excess fluid from tissues, reduce congestion, and ease inflammation and soreness in affected areas. Your first session includes a health history review and assessment to determine whether lymphatic drainage is appropriate, identify any contraindications, and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. MLD can be beneficial for people recovering from surgery, cancer treatment, orthopedic procedures, cosmetic surgery, or gender-affirming care, as well as acute injuries such as sprains or strains. It may also support those managing chronic conditions including migraines, fibromyalgia, lymphedema, lipedema, arthritis, or venous insufficiency.

En quoi ça consiste

Most of the hour is spent figuring out what your body is doing — where things feel restricted, how you move, what sets it off — then hands-on soft-tissue work, pressure and positioning, with a clearer sense of what was found and how to book the next session.
