Abhyanga Ayurveda Massage
Abhyanga is a full body Ayurvedic massage that uses warm oil to promote a deep sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. Abhyanga has the meaning of “moving or movement of hands on limbs with oil”. We anoint the body with oil.
This massage is done with a rhythmic motion to help stimulate the tissues, the lymphatic, circulatory and endocrine systems.
It is a rejuvenating and nourishing full body massage done with warm oil to help firm up the tissues, softer skin and over all, contributes to graceful ageing.
Abhyanga massage is a gift to yourself as a ritual of self love and care. It has been known to ease our bodies of tension and pain, our minds left calm by the repetitive soothing and therapeutic touch over the whole body, with added benefits of better sleep, stress reduction and improved circulation.
Warm cold pressed, raw sesame oil is used in this massage. Heated to a warm temperature - between 38 to 40 degrees. (There is the option to adjust the type of oil if there a sesame allergy)
