During these sessions, couples can join the therapist in enhancing emotional intimacy, strengthening relationship bonds, and creating a healthier and more fulfilling partnership for both individuals involved. Either in-person or virtually, the therapist will work alongside the couple in providing a safe space to reach certain goals within each session.

Most of the hour is spent talking through what’s been happening, how you’ve been reacting, and what patterns keep showing up — your counsellor asks questions, reflects things back, and helps you put words to it — so you leave with a clearer sense of what came up and what to keep noticing between sessions.
