An initial Occupational Therapy Assessment involves an in-depth intake and assessment of the child's development specific to the concerns expressed by the family. This can include, but is not limited to, fine motor, gross motor, motor planning, sensory, feeding, self regulation, self-help, social skills and play skills.
Our OTs will discuss assessment results and provide goals and a treatment plan for moving forward. You will be provided with a written summary of the session by email. THE ENHANCED ASSESSMENT INCLUDES A 30 MINUTE VIDEO CALL WITH THE PARENT SOMETIME AFTER THE ASSESSMENT TO REVIEW THE FINDINGS AND GOALS AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE STARTING TREATMENT.
