By inserting hair-thin, sterile needles into specific points along these meridians, we "clear the site" restoring balance and allowing the body to heal itself.
The Modern Clinical Perspective: From a Western standpoint, acupuncture stimulates the nervous system, releasing natural pain-relieving chemicals like endorphins and serotonin. It improves local blood circulation and modulates the immune response, making it a powerful tool for inflammation, stress, and chronic pain management.
