Gua Sha “scraping away of illness” involves using a jade stone with lubricant to rub parts of body to activate blood circulation, release trigger points and knots, dissipate blood stasis and clear metabolic waste in blood and tissue. Blood is forced out of tiny capillaries in skin and muscle tissue allowing for the flow of new blood. Gua Sha can be used on the neck, back, arms, face, neck, chest….anywhere!
