Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.

During the session, patients will have numbing cream applied to the face for approximately 30 minutes while I perform acupuncture on the body. Once the numbing period is complete, the acupuncture needles are removed and the microneedling treatment begins.
