This is a full body movement analysis and assessment. The evaluation will consist of a complete movement and lifestyle history followed by a gait analysis and FMS (Functional Movement Screen) based assessment with additional in-depth screening through various orthopaedic testing protocols.
Dr. Irvine is certified in FMS, CSCS, Functional Range Conditioning, Kin Stretch, TPI Golf Assessment along with her training of Masters in Kinesiology and Dr. of Chiropractic. All of these areas of knowledge are used in her advanced assessment techniques.
The assessment will be followed by a treatment to address challenges, discomfort, or muscular imbalances that were identified in the assessment. Dr. Irvine uses various soft tissue techniques for treatment along with Functional Range Conditioning, Active Strengthening and Rehab, Ultrasound, and Integrated Acupuncture. A treatment plan will most often include additional strengthening exercises or mobility training for the patients to practice on their own.
