Initial Assessment and Treatment - 60 Minutes
Your first appointment will include a review of your health history, which should be completed prior to your arrival to the clinic (you should receive an email when your account is set up, or you can access the intake form when you sign into your online profile), an assessment - including your postural assessment, range of motion (ROM) as related to your visit, and any further orthopedic testing required to determine your best treatment options.
As with every appointment, we will start with an assessment, and then determine the best course of treatment prior to the client getting on the table.
Treatment will be based around Swedish massage techniques, and may include trigger point release work, stretching, joint mobilizations, manual lymphatic drainage, fascial releases, and the incorporation of Craniosacral techniques. This will be discussed during assessment so the client understands what to expect during their session.
As per the clinic's cancellation policy, any changes to your appointment requires a minimum of 24 hours notice. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee for the total amount of the missed appointment, and will be required to be paid prior to another appointment being booked. Consideration is given for illness, or unexpected emergencies, and will be dealt on a case by case basis.
