Who are headspa treatments suitable for?
If your favourite part of getting your hair done is when the stylist washes it for you in a basin (and gives a wonderful scalp massage, of course) then this is the treatment for you.
Who it is not suitable for:
People who wear hair extensions, have sensitive scalps, broken skin barriers of the scalp, anyone who is claustrophobic or fearful of water. Those who are pregnant should disclose this information beforehand as it will require treatment modifications.
What does it include?
A tranquil therapy headspa leans into my massage therapy skillset and includes:
Dry hair scalp massage with oil
Wet Scalp massage with shampoo
Buccal (face) massage with a hot towel while conditioner is setting.
Lymphatic drainage massage of face and neck
Fascial release of masseter muscles
Optional intra-oral jaw massage as part of buccal protocol.
