Fire cupping utilizes glass cups and a flame to create a suction like pressure pulling your tissues into the cup. This technique helps ; bring fresh blood into the tissues, stretches the tissues, promotes better toxin releases and lymphatic function. This can help loosen muscle adhesions and fascial restrictions.
Caution: cups will leave cupping marks on skin which will eventually fade.
This is used in conjunction with therapeutic massage. Utilizing both cups and manual massage.
Note: pressure can be controlled in cups for client’s comfort level & informed consent means we can stop using them at any time.
