Medical Qigong is an ancient form of Chinese energetic medicine that is applied to facilitate healing through balancing the yin and the yang, as well as the qi, or the life force that is present in all living organisms. Medical Qi Gong is one of the four main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), along with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and medical massage. The treatments are hands on, but do not include needles, rather it employs techniques similar to acupressure, Reiki, and massage techniques. This is an excellent, gentle treatment modality for supporting people with chronic diseases, people with sensitive systems, and people who are deeply committed to opening the layers of communication between the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of their being. Our visit together will include a bit of counselling/ coaching/ discussing your goals for your treatments and on your life path in addition to the hands- on treatment.
