This appointment provides in-home osteopathic manual therapy support during labour, focused on supporting mobility, comfort, breathing mechanics, and nervous system regulation through hands-on osteopathic techniques.
Care is adjunctive and non-urgent and does not include medical assessment, monitoring, diagnosis, decision-making, or emergency care. Obstetric and midwifery care remain under the direction of the client’s primary medical team.
Visits are booked in defined time blocks. Additional time may be added if mutually agreed and availability allows.
This appointment is appropriate for clients who have discussed labour support with their osteopathic practitioner in advance.
