During a rehabilitative laser therapy session, a low-level laser is applied to the affected area of the body. The laser emits a low-intensity light that is absorbed by the cells in the body’s tissues. This light energy is then converted into biochemical energy, which helps to stimulate cellular repair and regeneration.
