Neuromodulators are injectable treatments used to relax targeted facial muscles, helping reduce
the appearance of wrinkles and prevent new lines from forming.
Therapeutic Treatment Areas
Neuromodulators may also be used to help manage a variety of muscle-related conditions by
reducing excessive muscle activity and tension.
These treatments may include:
TMJ (Jaw Clenching & Teeth Grinding): Relaxes the masseter muscles to reduce jaw
pain, tension, headaches, and teeth grinding.
Chronic Migraine: Can help reduce the frequency and severity of migraines in eligible
patients.
Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating): Commonly used for underarms, hands, feet, to
reduce excessive sweating.
Fibromyalgia (Selected Patients): Although not specifically approved for fibromyalgia,
neuromodulators may be considered in selected patients to help relieve localized muscle
pain, trigger points, muscle spasms, and chronic muscle tension. Treatment is
individualized and may be used as part of a comprehensive pain management plan.
Neck and Shoulder Muscle Tension: May provide relief from chronic tightness in
muscles such as the trapezius and cervical muscles.
Masseter Hypertrophy: Reduces enlarged jaw muscles, helping with facial slimming
while relieving jaw discomfort.
