emporomandibular Disorders (TMD) affect the jaw joint and surrounding muscles, often contributing to jaw pain, clicking, headaches, facial tension, ear symptoms, and neck discomfort.
This treatment focuses on reducing tension in the muscles of mastication (including the masseter, temporalis, and pterygoids), improving jaw mobility, and relieving associated neck and upper shoulder strain. Treatment may include external jaw and facial release, cervical work, and optional intraoral (inside the mouth) massage using gloved techniques to access deeper muscles that cannot be reached externally.
