Fire cupping is a traditional therapy that involves creating a vacuum inside cups placed on the skin, using heat (fire) as a tool to generate the suction. Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
