Compression stockings are designed to gently squeeze your legs, improving blood circulation and energizing your legs. They help prevent spider and varicose veins, reduce leg pain, swelling, heaviness, and muscle stiffness, and are especially helpful during pregnancy to manage swelling and prevent varicose veins. Compression stockings can also help prevent and manage phlebitis and venous thrombosis (blood clots).
They can be worn during everyday activities like walking, running, golfing, or yoga, or during prolonged periods of sitting or standing. A proper fitting appointment is required. Coverage is often available with a prescription.
