150 minFacilitated by Pine's very own Sam Copithorne (Registered Psychologist) & Sonia James (Registered Acupuncturist), in collaborating with Joanna Kissick & Kara Bell (Personal Trainers and Co-Owners of Raise the Bar). **This in-person group is housed externally in Sherwood Park at Raise the Bar- RTB. ** The session will run for 3.5 hours for a total of $250.00 +GST per participant. All participants must register for Part A and Part B for proper acupuncture submission. Part A of this workshop is not eligible for self submission to extended health benefits. *Payment is required upon registering and an invoice will be issued on the day of the event.* The Purpose: -To educate you to better understand your hormones and why your body/brain is doing what it is. -How to recognize signs/symptoms of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) vs. Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). -Find ways to manage and support your body through constant hormonal shifts. -Review acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches to support PMDD. -Gain a repertoire of gentle movements and stretches, especially great for the hips and low back cramps or pain that otherwise leave us feeling immobile. -Feel empowered and confident to move and honour your body.
