Pay for 8, get 10! Before Labour begins, my job is to provide you with emotional, informational, and physical support throughout your pregnancy, before labour ever begins! The goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and prepared for childbirth and the postpartum period. What is included, Emotional Support A safe space to talk about your feelings, fears, and hopes related to pregnancy and birth Encouragement and validation of your current and past experiences help in processing past births or trauma, if relevant support for both the birthing person and their partner. Informational Support Education about labour, birth, and postpartum options Help creating a birth plan or preferences sheet (WITH BACKUPS) Guidance on topics like: Choosing a care provider or birthplace (hospital, birth center (if an option) or even at home!) Medical interventions ( epidural, induction, cesarean) Natural comfort measures and coping techniques (We spend lots of time on breathing, positioning, whilst working with the tens machine, acupressure, cupping and so much more. Prenatal nutrition and wellness Referrals to trusted resources (chiropractors, lactation consultants, pelvic floor therapists, etc.) Physical Support (Prenatal Comfort & Preparation) Suggestions for positions and stretches to support babys optimal positioning Guidance on managing common pregnancy discomforts (like back pain or swelling) Teaching relaxation and breathing techniques (lets talk about hypnobirthing!) Hands-on techniques like prenatal massage, rebozo use, counterpressure, cupping, acupressure & more. Mind-Body Preparation Help with visualization, affirmations, mindfulness, and birth mindset Support in planning for postpartum: meals, rest, visitors, and more Discussion of your support system and how to strengthen it (it really takes a village!) During our sessions getting to know you and your partner is important to me! I like discussing your values, preferences, and fears. Going over what labour might look like and how I can support you in ways that you're feeling seen and heard.
