Aarushi is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with over eight years of experience supporting individuals navigating mental health, behavioural, and emotional challenges across community mental health and complex care settings.
She works primarily with adults and caregivers experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and the impacts of stress and burnout. She also has extensive experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder, acquired brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and complex mental health needs.
Aarushi offers a trauma-informed, client-centred, and culturally responsive approach to therapy. Her work is grounded in the understanding that healing is not linear:it can be painful, frustrating, and at times overwhelming. Many people find themselves caught in patterns of avoidance, emotional suppression, or survival-based responses such as fight, flight, freeze. With the right support, these patterns can be understood with compassion rather than judgment, creating space for change.
In therapy, Aarushi supports clients to safely process emotions, explore their experiences, and build healthier boundaries, especially in situations where circumstances may not be immediately changeable. She believes that meaningful change often begins with learning to reconnect with oneself, develop self-awareness, and create new ways of responding rather than reacting.
Her approach integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and CommitmentTherapy (ACT), Internal Family system (IFS) mindfulness-based practices, and strengths-based, person-centred work. She values collaboration and works alongside clients at their pace, honouring their readiness and capacity.
Aarushi believes that while life can feel heavy at times, healing is possible when people feel supported, understood, and not alone in what they are carrying. Her goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strength, build emotional resilience, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and authentic.

She values moments of stillness, reflection, and connection as an important part of overall well-being.
