Abe is a Registered Massage Therapist graduating from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy with a strong passion for human anatomy, strength and conditioning, and the science of recovery. His ongoing commitment to learning keeps him up to date with the most effective, evidence-informed approaches to treatment, performance, and overall wellness. He believes that optimizing movement, supporting tissue health, and understanding the body holistically are key to long-term function and quality of life.
With a background in mixed martial arts and competitive No Gi Jiu-Jitsu, Abe has firsthand experience with the physical demands athletes face. His own training has shaped his appreciation for mobility, injury prevention, nutrition, and active recovery perspectives he now brings directly into his clinical practice. This athletic foundation helps him create treatments that are practical, goal-oriented, and customized to each client’s needs.
Abe is dedicated to helping patients reach their personal health goals, whether that means reducing pain, restoring mobility, enhancing performance, or simply improving day-to-day comfort. His treatments often integrate a combination of Swedish massage, myofascial techniques, trigger point release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), joint mobilizations, and targeted stretching to support optimal tissue function.
Outside of work, Abe enjoys spending time with his family, training in Jiu-Jitsu/ wrestling, and exploring new restaurants around the city.
Abe is fluent in English and speaks conversational Tagalog.
