Please note: **Adrienne does not bill ICBC, MSP, or WCB treatments at this time.**
Practicing since 2003, Adrienne has a wide reach of professional experience that includes treating in multidisciplinary and sports rehabilitation clinics, and teaching at both Langara College and Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Over the years, her approach to treatment has evolved to include both orthopedic and petrissage modalities in each visit-a unique combination of rehabilitation and relaxation techniques that promotes recovery and rehabilitation, while still allowing the body to rest during the massage treatment. Neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, and joint mobilizations may be seamlessly incorporated for optimal results.
She has a keen interest in neck and shoulder pain or dysfunction, and treatment for chronic headaches.
A remedial exercise plan is created for each patient, which will be modified on their path to recovery.

*Billed under Registered Massage Therapy* Deep tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. By using slow, firm strokes and deep pressure, it aims to break down knots and adhesions in muscles and improve blood flow and range of motion. Unlike a relaxation massage, deep tissue massage may cause slight discomfort. You may be sore after the session, but the benefits it offers will make you do it all over again. Deep tissue massage employs several techniques including direct pressure with the therapist's hands, fingers, forearms, or elbows; slow strokes to work into the deeper layers of tissue; and friction and stretching to release tension and improve range of motion. These techniques combined create a powerful therapy to alleviate muscle pain and tension.
