Agnes has been fortunate to find the occupation she loves, Massage Therapy.
Over a decade ago she fell in love with Vancouver Island and decided to relocate from Hamilton, Ontario. The Island is the place where she wants to live, spend time with loved ones, and explore her career as a Registered Massage Therapist.
Agnes graduated from Canadian Therapeutic College in 2009, and has been practicing massage therapy since then. In 2001 she graduated from Career Canada College as a Certified Physiotherapist Assistant. For many years Agnes had the opportunity to be a part of the Health Care Practitioners team, working together to restore and strengthen the well-being of her clients. She is certified in Therapeutic Massage, the member of College of Massage Therapists of BC and member of Massage Therapists Association of BC. She was also registered by the province of Ontario where she originally received her training.
Few years ago Agnes was introduced to Reiki Practice - form of energy therapy, using the Universal life force as a healing tool. She completed Reiki I and Reiki II training and she is on her way to become the Reiki Master.
Agnes loves the diversity of massage treatments. She practices Swedish massage, Deep Tissue Techniques, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point and Pregnancy Massage and integrates Yoga Stretches, Breathing Techniques, Tragger Techniques and Guided Relaxation as the tools in her customised treatments.
Agnes has a very unique approach to each treatment. She helps her patients to successfully overcome stubborn cases of back pain, sciatica, body stiffness, fibromyalgia, hypertension, poor circulation, injury recovery as well as releasing muscle held memory resulting from past experiences and emotional suffering or depression.
She believes in the natural balance of the body, mind and spirit. Her goal is to inspire you to establish a healthy connection between your own mind and body. The human nature has the incredible ability to heal itself when given the right tools. Let her assist you in finding your tools, to help yourself achieve that balance in your life.
